To Dust
This short film is a documentation of the process in which I have created a clay representation of Greenman, the iconic protector of the forests and symbol of the cycle of life. Greenman is as old as history, and despite its association with pagan imagery, was often placed next to images of Christ because of its strong message of resurrection.
By my hand, the accumulation of water will rapidly kill the object that I crafted.
All one can do is watch, while searching for the brief glimmer of something permanant and still.
